George Robinson, beloved father and son, known to all as "G," of West Warwick, RI passed away Wednesday May 7, 2025.

Born in St. Croix, he was the son of the late Frank Duodu and survived by his mother Janet Robinson Duodu. His daughter Arianna Ta' Mari Robinson, ex-partner Karen Gasperini of Pawtucket, RI. Siblings Beatrice Owusu, Cassandra Owusu, Angela Aikins-Andoh, Dean Duodu, five nieces and five nephews.

He was also fortunate to have an extended family here in RI for 27 years of whom he spent numerous holidays with: his in laws "The Gasperini Family."

He spent time growing up in various places such as the UK, Ghana and the Caribbean with various family members before finally settling in the US for work.

As George settled here in RI he received a college degree from MTTI in Computer Technology. He then secured a prestigious job with "Tasca Automotive group” as their Information Technology (IT) specialist and worked along side his Tasca Family for over eleven years.

George was a proud father to his daughter and best friend Arianna. They were like two peas in a pod. They enjoyed watching movies together, playing video games and quoting scenes from their favorite movies. George had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a big smile on his face. He enjoyed cooking on his grill and sharing meals with loved ones and friends. His specialty dishes will be missed by all who had the pleasure of enjoying his delicious meals. George was always dependable and there whenever you needed him. If someone was in need of a ride, a meal or a mix tape/ music playlist know as George’s “Slam Jams”, if you ask George would make it happen.

George spent a lot of time giving back to others. Along with his longtime partner and mother of his daughter, they opened their home as temporary foster parents to many children in southern New England. Over the years he helped raise over 19 children and provide support to those children in need.

He was a lover of music with a coveted collection of vinyl records that helped him pursue his dream of being a disk jockey. He was known as DJ "In the Mix with G”.

He was loved by everyone who knew him. Especially his family and loved ones. His family in London, Ghana and the US will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 12:00pm- 3:00pm in the "Keefe Funeral Home," Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln RI. Repass will be held right after his service at "Events On Charles," 593 Charles St, Providence, RI.

Please come and enjoy some of George's favorite foods and hear his music while we all take part in celebrating this incredible man.
